The Entrepreneurship 12 course included competing in the E-Spirit Aboriginal Business Plan Competition. The convention and presentations were held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Students from the course in 2006-2007 created a team called Tsek’ene Shadow Hawks, which in turn created the following registered business:
Students created a video advertisement, complete business plan, a powerpoint presentation, and a display for the trade show. Several hours outside of class time were necessary to complete all requirements for the national-wide competition.
Results for the powerpoint presentations:
the Tsek’ene Shadow Hawks from Fort Ware, B.C. ranked in the top 8 out of 78 teams!
